Poem Of Love

‘The Perfect pearl on the ground’

By Asif

TAJ MAHAL literally meaning "crown of palaces".
Every year more than 3 million peoples comes to visit Taj Mahal and see it by their own eyes.
Taj Mahal is much more than a architectural masterpiece. Taj Mahal built in the goriest period of the Indian history.
It’s creator a man who dedicated his wife a dream… The great Mughal Shah Jahan.
The Taj Mahal must always stand as symbol of eternal love.

Sukma visited India last year but could not visited Taj Mahal, She told me that she desired to visit Taj Mahal. Even we decided while we joking to visit ‘the pearl on the ground’ (I call Taj Mahal ‘the perfect pearl on the ground’). Finally that desire was fulfilled. After the long and tired journey of 24 hours we reached at Agra…. A city of Taj Mahal. She was surprised to see that dirty city. Of course the marvelous Taj Mahal situated there since more than 400 years. Still condition of city too worse. Thanks to Indian government.

On the 20th May, 2015 we left the hotel (someone stolen the room key) and went for Taj. Already we have seen Taj from Agra fort last evening as Shah Jahan was watching it. It’s also great view from Agra fort. But Taj was calling us. Indeed I was visited Taj in 2013, exactly 2 years ago. Once again I was drive towards Taj… A symbol of power and love.  This time was with someone special… of course it was my Sukma. She sent me often ‘Lines’ (poem), the Taj Mahal similar to her line but lines crafted in stones.

We entered in Taj complex to feel the Taj… but unfortunately it was summer and holiday time so crowded and so hot too. It was unbearable heat. But still we roam over Taj Mahal and took some selfies too. Taj is not thing to watch… it’s not just a monument to visit it…. But it’s a tear drop which fell from lover’s eye… we feel that tear from our soul.

We left the Agra and went Fatehpur Sikri, a city which established by Akbar on the birth place of Salim Chisti to give him honor.

May his ‘tear’ for love show us the way towards love and spirituality.....
